FAQs
Who do you work with?
I can work with any individual over the age of 12 who has a permanent address in either New York or Florida.
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider, meaning I do not take insurance.
How do I know if I have out-of-network coverage?
Start by calling your insurance company (the number should be on the back of your insurance card) or logging in to the company’s website. Questions to ask:
Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
What is my co-insurance rate for outpatient psychotherapy (% of reimbursement per session)?
What are your rates?
My standard rate is $250 per session.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes! I recognize that my standard rate is not accessible to many people, especially those in marginalized communities. I work in a subsidized way, so some people pay my full fee so that others can pay less. My ability to slide depends on how many full fee clients I have at that time. During our consultation call, we can discuss what fee would feel sustainable for you and for how long. If I’m unable to accommodate your needs, I’ll try and get you set up with a therapist who can.
Do you work in person or virtually?
Both! My office is in Midtown, Manhattan. It’s quiet, cozy, and full of plants. We can also work virtually or in a hybrid format, whatever you prefer.
